Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 29, 2026

Trip Centre is a shared workspace for planning outdoor trips — routes & maps, gear, food, safety, and pack-out. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you visit our website, create an account, or use Trip Centre.

By using Trip Centre, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who we are

Trip Centre is operated by SKRP Holdings Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a hash — we never see your password in plain text). If you sign in through a third-party provider, we receive basic profile information from that provider.

Organization information

If you set up or join an organization on Trip Centre, we collect the organization name, type (camp, outfitter, etc.), and any settings you configure.

Trip content

Trip Centre stores the content you create: routes and maps, gear lists, food and menu plans, safety checklists, pack-out records, and notes. You own this content. We store it to provide the service.

Pilot and early-access requests

If you submit a pilot access request, we collect the information you provide in that form: name, email, organization name, type, and any optional details about your programs.

Usage and technical information

We collect basic usage data — pages visited, features used, error events — and technical details like IP address, browser type, and device type. We use this to keep the service running and to improve it.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account
  • To provide access to Trip Centre and store your trip content
  • To respond to support requests and pilot inquiries
  • To send you important account or service updates
  • To monitor for security issues, errors, and abuse
  • To improve the product based on how it is used
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

4. Service providers

We use trusted third-party providers to help operate Trip Centre — for hosting, authentication, email delivery, file storage, error monitoring, and analytics. These providers only access personal information as needed to deliver their services to us.

Some providers are located outside Canada, including in the United States. By using Trip Centre, you acknowledge that your information may be processed in those jurisdictions and may be subject to their laws.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, save your preferences, and understand how Trip Centre is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work properly if you disable them.

6. How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is completely secure. Use a strong, unique password and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your personal information and trip content as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it by law.

8. Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and provincial equivalents), you have the right to access personal information we hold about you, to correct inaccuracies, and to request deletion where applicable. To make a request, email us at support@tripcentre.app. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. Children's privacy

Trip Centre is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If an organization uses Trip Centre to plan trips involving minors as participants, that organization is responsible for handling participant information appropriately and lawfully.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the app.
