Terms of Service
Last updated: June 29, 2026
These Terms of Service apply to your use of Trip Centre — including the website, the app, and any related services — operated by SKRP Holdings Inc.("Trip Centre," "we," "us").
By creating an account or using Trip Centre, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Trip Centre is
Trip Centre is a shared workspace for planning outdoor trips — routes & maps, gear, food, safety, and pack-out. It is a planning tool. It is not a substitute for proper judgment, training, local knowledge, permits, or professional guiding. You are responsible for the safety of your trip and your group.
2. Who can use Trip Centre
You must be at least 13 years old to use Trip Centre.
If you are using Trip Centre on behalf of a camp, outfitter, organization, or team, you confirm you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
3. Your account
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information when you sign up
- Keeping your password secure
- Everything that happens under your account
If you think your account has been compromised, contact us right away at support@tripcentre.app.
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, create risks for other users, or break applicable law.
4. Your content
You own the content you create in Trip Centre — your routes, maps, gear lists, food plans, safety notes, and anything else you add. We do not claim ownership of it.
By using Trip Centre, you give us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content as needed to run the service. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to anyone.
5. Your responsibility for trips
Routes, maps, gear lists, and safety checklists in Trip Centre are planning aids. They are not guarantees. You are responsible for verifying conditions, regulations, and whether a plan is appropriate for your group before heading out.
6. What you must not do
- Use Trip Centre to harm, spam, mislead, or defraud others
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without permission
- Try to bypass security controls or usage limits
- Upload malware or code intended to damage systems
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse the service
- Interfere with the normal operation of Trip Centre
7. Plans and pricing
Trip Centre is currently in early access. Pricing has not been finalized. If we introduce paid plans, we will show you clearly what is included, what it costs, and how billing works before charging anything. You will always be asked before being charged.
8. Early access
Trip Centre is in active development. Features may change, break, or be removed. We aim to communicate significant changes in advance, but early access means some things are still being figured out. Thank you for being part of that.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep Trip Centre available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will always be up, error-free, or available in every region. We may need to take it down for maintenance, updates, or issues outside our control.
10. Third-party services
Trip Centre uses third-party services for infrastructure, authentication, payments, email, file storage, and more. We are not responsible for those services. Your use of them may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Our intellectual property
The Trip Centre name, design, interface, software, and branding belong to SKRP Holdings Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.
12. No warranties
Trip Centre is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties — express or implied — about reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability. Trip Centre does not guarantee that any plan created with it is safe or appropriate for your trip.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Canadian law, SKRP Holdings Inc. and its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Trip Centre.
If we are found liable for something, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use Trip Centre in the three months before the event, or $100 CAD if you have not paid anything.
14. Feedback
If you share feedback, ideas, or suggestions with us, we may use them to improve Trip Centre without any obligation to you. We appreciate every bit of it.
15. Ending your account
You can stop using Trip Centre and request account deletion at any time by contacting support@tripcentre.app.
We may close or suspend your access if you violate these Terms, your use creates risk, or we are required to by law. Sections about your content, responsibility, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will let you know by email or through the app. Continuing to use Trip Centre after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
